Giant Mosasaurs came in many species. The biggest of all time was Hainosaurus, reaching 17 metres in length. All species of Mosasaur were related to snakes including Hainosaurus and Halisaurus. Hainosaurus were known to travel in groups, to protect the young ones. Mosasaurs would eat anything they came across, including other Mosasaurs.
