Hybodus was a shark that would have behaved much like modern sharks. It had a spine on its back to prevent predators from eating it. No-one knows how Hybodus got its name. It existed 230-90 million years ago, and would attack Leedsichthys and Ophthalmosaurus. It could grow up to 2 metres in length.
