Trioblites are a famous group of organisms and are extinct Arthopods. Trioblites are also one of the first Arthopods ever. They lived as long ago as 526 million years and went extinct about 250 million years ago and were thought to have swam in the oceans for about 270 million years before dying out. Of all early animals, the Trioblites were thought to be one of the most successful.

There are not only one species of trioblite but about 17,000 species have been identified.

Visually, a living Trioblite was a heavily armored organism that resembled a flat-fish and shellfish combined. The fossils resemble an insect such as a Centipede, but this, of course was an animal that didnt have much use for legs.
